Installing Cylinder Head Cover

NOTE: Dirt and contamination
  • Risk of damage to units or components

→ Protect components from dirt and contamination.

→ Clean or replace dirty components.

  1. Fit seal -1-  into the cylinder head cover.
    1. 1.1. Seal on cylinder head cover 1-3:

    2. 1.2. Seal on cylinder head cover 4-6:

  2. Fit cover on cylinder head using 20 countersunk screws (internal Torx (T30), M6 x 25).
  3. Fit and tighten screws according to the tightening sequence -1 to 20-  .

    → Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
