Removing Front Seat Frame

Information 

• Only for passenger seat in USA/Canada vehicles. 

1. Remove wire harness for AWS.
   1. 1.1. Remove tie-wraps -1-  on the seat shell at the left and right.

   2. 1.2. Release connector on AWS control unit -arrow A-  and pull it off -arrow B-  .

      CAUTION: Risk of damage to seat shell from the brackets.

      • Risk of surface damage (scratches).

      → Mask the seat shell with adhesive tape.

2. Mask the seat shell -1-  at the left and right in the marked area with adhesive tape -2-  (2-3 layers).

   Information 

   Two persons are needed to remove and install the backrest shell.

3. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  at the left and right.

4. Lift seat shell -2-  up and remove it from the bracket -3-  (-arrows-  ).
