Removing Support Plate

  1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points → WM 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE (ALL MODELS) .
  2. Remove rear underbody panel.
  3. Remove right and left diagonal braces -B-  and the support plate -A-  (→ Removing Support Plate  . Pull out the support plate -A-  without undue force.
