Removing Rear Trunk Floor Panel (Section)

  1. Remove closing cross member. → Removing Closing Cross Member 
  2. Determining the cut
    1. 2.1. Position rear trunk floor panel separation point -A-  so that the rear trunk floor panel spare part overlaps by approx. 40 mm. Mark the separation point.

  3. Cutting through rear trunk floor panel
    1. 3.1. Cut through rear trunk floor panel in front of the laser weld (visible continuous weld in rear trunk floor panel) on the marked connection point -A-  with the oscillating body saw.

  4. Milling off spotwelds
    1. 4.1. Mill off spotwelds in areas -A-  and -B-  using a spotweld cutter.
