Removing Center Side Member

Information 

Do not cut the side member in area -a-  .

Cut the side member only in areas -b-  and -c-  .

Cuts must not  obstruct the openings (holes in the side member).

Make cuts between the openings (holes in the side member).

1. Determine the cut
   1. 1.1. Determine the position of the cut in area -A-  between the openings (holes). Mark the cut.

2. Cut through center side member
   1. 2.1. Cut through the center side member in area -A-  .

3. Mill off spotwelds
   1. 3.1. Mill off spotwelds in area -A-  using a spotweld cutter.

4. Mill off and separate spotwelds
   1. 4.1. Mill off spotwelds in areas -A-  and -B-  using a spotweld cutter.
   2. 4.2. Separate spotwelds in area -C-  using a parting grinder.

5. Separate welded joints
   1. 5.1. Separate inert-gas welded seam in area -A-  using a parting grinder.
   2. 5.2. Separate spotwelds in area -B-  using a parting grinder.
