Tyre Pressure Of Cold Tires (Approx. 20 °C)

WARNING: Incorrect tire pressure
  • Uncontrollable vehicle handling

→ Adjust the tire pressure according to specifications. Never allow the pressure to fall below the minimum pressure.

→ Check age of tires. Replace tires that are more than 6 years old.

→ Perform visual inspections.

→ Use new rubber valves at every tire change.

→ Use only tires recommended by Porsche.

19-inch wheels, front → Part load: 2.3 bar (33 psi)

(1) A higher tire pressure is used on the rear axle (2.3 bar/33 psi) with the introduction of the GT3 RS (as of 29.09.2006). This tire pressure also applies to the GT3 as of this date. The higher tire pressure of 2.3 bar (33 psi) can also be used for GT3 manufactured before this date. In this case, the instrument cluster must be adapted (Instrument cluster coding) to suit the rear-axle tire pressure of 2.3 bar (33 psi). For more information, refer to Technical Information (TI), Group 4/No. 11/06 (Summer tires for 911 GT3/911 GT3 RS). It is also important to change the tyre-pressure plate and record the change in the Driver's Manual.
