Checking Wheel Mounting
Information
Re-tightening wheel bolts and checking that they fit securely relates only to the conventional wheel mounting (several bolts per wheel).
This is not necessary for wheels with central bolts!
Use suitable commercially available tools (wrench size 19 mm) together with a tested torque wrench, covering the range up to 130 Nm (96 ftlb.). Never use an impact bolter.
Do not loosen the wheel bolts to check whether they are secure. Re-tighten the wheel bolts to 130 Nm (96 ftlb.) and check that they fit securely.
