Tilt sensor (country version)

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2005 Porsche 911, 2004 Porsche 911, 2003 Porsche 911, 2002 Porsche 911, and 2001 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The external tilt sensor is active along with the Control of External Electronics output. During this time, a change in the vehicle tilt triggers an alarm. The current tilt of the vehicle is stored as a reference value during a calibration phase defined for the tilt sensor. The system has an alarm siren with a rechargeable battery supply which can emit an alarm if the vehicle battery is removed.
