Wear limit technical data - GT3 RS and GT3 as of model year 2004
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2005 Porsche 911, 2004 Porsche 911, 2003 Porsche 911, 2002 Porsche 911, and 2001 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Depending on the wear of brake discs, two condition criteria can make replacement necessary:
- Perforation crack length exceeding the permissible value (cast iron brake discs). In the case of the PCCB brake: Surface changes in the brake disc friction surfaces at advanced stage.
- Brake disc minimum thickness is not attained due to wear (material erosion due to friction).TECHNICAL DATA BRAKE WEAR LIMIT - GT3 RS AND GT3
