Installing Air Cleaner Housing

Lightly coat the position support on the lower part of the air cleaner housing with Vaseline or acid-free grease.
1. 1.1. Lift air cleaner housing into the engine compartment and secure it.

  2. Rubber mount
  3. Mounting peg

Fit rubber sleeve on the throttle housing and tighten the screw-type clamp -2- .
→ Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (2.0 ft. lb.)
1. 2.1. Connect cable plug for hot-film mass air flow sensor -3- .
2. 2.2. Clip in cable at the housing -arrows- .

3.8-Liter air filter only:
Connect cable plug -2- and vacuum line -1- on the solenoid valve for the tuning flap.
