Installing Coolant Distributor Housing

Information 

• Replace O-rings. 
• Grease O-rings with a light coating of Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No.: 000.043.204.68). 

1. 1.1. Replace sealing rings -6 and 7-  .
2. 1.2. Fit coolant distributor housing and press it into the joining socket.

→ 217820 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OIL RETURN LINE .

1. 2.1. Install oil return line 4-6.

→ 103019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE CARRIER .

1. 3.1. Support the engine with a transmission jack and Retainer Plate 9592  .

   → Tightening torque: 85 Nm (63 ft. lb.) 

   → Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ft. lb.)

1. 4.1. Replace all sealing rings.

2. 4.2. Fit unit carrier -2-  and screw in and tighten screws.
3. 4.3. Position coolant flange -5-  and screw in and tighten screws -3-  .

   → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.) 

4. 4.4. Screw in and tighten screw -4-  on cable rail.

   → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
