Checking Coolant Antifreeze Content And Fluid Level

Information 

• Only use Genuine Porsche coolant. 
• Do not mix Porsche coolant with coolants from other manufacturers. 
• Otherwise, components can become corroded or the coolant can flocculate. 

Information 

• The coolant filled in at the factory is intended for lifetime cooling and, thus, need not be changed. 

→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.

→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

1. Check antifreeze content.
   1. 1.1. To do this, open the lid on the coolant reservoir and check the antifreeze content using a commercially available antifreeze tester. → Using antifreeze tester 
   2. 1.2. If this is below - 35°C  , correct the antifreeze content by raising the proportion of pure coolant accordingly

2. Check engine coolant level and correct it if necessary.
   1. 2.1. The engine coolant level must be between the Min and Max markings.
   2. 2.2. If this is not the case, either drain off or top up coolant.
