Removing Turbocharger Oil Tank
WARNING:
Vehicle can fall down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
- Risk of damage to the vehicle
→ Do not place any solid objects under the raised vehicle.
→ Ensure that the lifting platform is prevented from lowering.
→ Remove solid objects before lowering the vehicle.
→ Raise the vehicle only at the jacking points provided.
→ The outer jacking points should be used primarily.

→ Let the fluid cool down.

Information
Specifications for wrench sizes (a/f specifications) for screw heads are described as follows:
- Torx screws: (E..) for external Torx, (T..) for internal Torx.
- Hexagon-head bolts (internal and external hexagon): Wrench size (a/f)
- Place a container under the work area to collect engine oil.
- Remove oil return line and vent line on turbocharger oil tank.
- 2.1. Unscrew fastening screw (E10, M6 x 12) -1- on the oil return line support -2- .
- 2.2. Unscrew fastening screw (E10, M6 x 12) -3- for the oil return line at the oil tank.
- 2.3. Pull oil return line out of the oil tank -arrow-
and collect draining oil.
Close off all openings with suitable stoppers.
- 2.4. Unscrew fastening screw (E10, M6 x 12) -5- for the vent line -6- .
- 2.5. Unscrew fastening screws (E10, M6 x 12) -4- for the heat shield.
- Remove oil tank.
- 3.1. Unscrew two fastening screws (E10, M6 x 25) -1- on the oil tank.
- 3.2. Remove oil tank in a downward direction. Pull the vent line -6-
out of the oil tank when doing so -arrow-

Close off all openings with suitable stoppers.
