Remove charge-air cooler.
→ 214319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CHARGE-AIR COOLER - GT2 RS .
CAUTION:
Hot components
- Risk of burns
→ Let hot components cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.
Remove rear silencer.
→ 263319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SILENCER .
Disconnect cable plug on electronic adjuster.
Disconnect intake air line.
1. 4.1. Cylinder bank 1-3: Unscrew one M6 hexagon nut -1- on the guide plate and two M6 Torx screws -arrows- on the turbocharger.

2. 4.2. Pull off intake air line at the connection piece and take it out of the bracket in the engine compartment. Disconnect cable plug from electronic adjuster.
3. 4.3. Cylinder bank 4-6: Unscrew two M6 Torx screws -arrows- .

4. 4.4. Disconnect cable plug from electronic adjuster -1- . Pull off intake air line at the connection piece and take it out of the bracket in the engine compartment.
Replace O-rings on the relevant intake manifold and clean sealing surfaces carefully.
