NOTE: Exhaustively discharged battery
  • The warning tone indicates that the battery needs to be charged
  • Risk of irreparable damage to the battery if it is not charged

→ Charge the battery after an idle period of max. 2 weeks

→ If the battery is not used for a longer period of time, use a trickle charger recommended by Porsche

→ If the revs start to drop off when starting the engine, cancel the engine start process in order to avoid discharging the battery fully

A well-charged battery prevents starting problems.

Traffic density as well as noise, emission and fuel consumption requirements increasingly reduce the engine speed and thus the power output from the generator.

The amount of power required is increased significantly however as a result of the high number of electrical loads.

This can unintentionally run down the battery.
