Due to the lithium-ion technology, there are limitations on the starting behaviour of the battery at very low and very high outside temperatures:

• - The lead battery must be re-installed in order to drive the vehicle at temperatures below 0°C (32°F).
• - Driving at ambient temperatures above 40°C (104°F) with additional heat coming from the sun's rays can result in reduced battery performance in the long term and cause premature ageing of the battery cells.
