Preliminary Work

  1. Raise the vehicle at the specified jacking points. → WM 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE (ALL MODELS)
  2. Remove front underbody panel. → WM 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT UNDERBODY - section on "Removing"
  3. Remove front drive shaft. → 404119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT DRIVE SHAFT - section on "Removing"
  4. Place oil collection pan under the transmission.
