Preliminary Work

  1. Raise the vehicle at the specified jacking points. → WM 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE (ALL MODELS)
  2. Remove underbody panel. → WM 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY - removing → WM 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY - removing →
  3. Remove cardan shaft. → 390219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CARDAN SHAFT  - section on "Removing"
  4. Remove front final drive. → 398819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT FINAL DRIVE  - section on "Removing"
