Preliminary Work

  1. Jack and raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.

    → 4X00IN01 LIFTING THE VEHICLE .

  2. Remove the relevant front wheel.

    → 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL .

    → 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL WITH CENTRAL BOLT .

  3. Remove front underbody panelling → 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT COVER .
  4. Loosen suspension/stabilizer at the anti-roll bar (so that there is sufficient clearance in the area for removing the drive shaft).
  5. Remove diagonal braces.

  6. Remove front cover.
