Remove hinge pillar reinforcement. → 516255 REPLACING HINGE PILLAR REINFORCEMENT - section on "Removing"
Remove center side member. → 514855 REPLACING CENTRE SIDE MEMBER - section on "Removing"
Information

Only make the cut on the retaining bracket for the support tube in marked area A between the openings. The cut must never go through the openings.
Determining the cut
1. 3.1. Determine the position of the cut -A- between the openings (holes). Mark the cut.

Separating inert-gas welded seams
1. 5.1. Separate inert-gas welded seams in areas -A- and -B - using a parting grinder.

Cutting the spotwelds
