Removing vacuum pump - as of 2009 model

Information 

When you loosen the fastening screws, engine oil will run out of the vacuum pump. Place a suitable container underneath to collect the emerging engine oil. The engine-oil level must be checked and topped up afterwards (following installation).

  1. Remove vacuum pump -1-  (solo pump on right side of cylinder head).
    • 1.1. Disconnect vacuum pipe -2-  at the vacuum pump -1-  and on the engine.

      Pull off vacuum pipe -2-  at the vacuum pump -1-  .

    • 1.2. Unscrew external Torx screws (M6 x 20) -4- and remove the vacuum pump.

      Make sure not to loosen the internal Torx screws.
