Installing Seal For Convertible-Top Compartment Lid

Information 

• Before replacing seal, check the existing seal for signs of damage (tears, crushed areas, etc.). If there are signs of damage, the seal must be replaced. 
• The seal is pressed onto the flange without any additional sealant. 

1. Lay seal for convertible-top compartment lid evenly along the flange. Position and press the seal without tension onto the flanges at the side panels -Arrows A-  , at the corner pieces -Arrows B-  and onto the flanges connecting to the engine compartment bulkhead -Arrows C-  .

   Information 

   • Pay particular attention to the areas near the tight roundings for correct installation; there must be no deformation or stretching. 
2. Close convertible top.
