- Adjust hood compartment lid.
- 1.1. End hood service position. → 6101IN HOOD SERVICE POSITION
- 1.2. Check contours with respect to the side panels, the hood and the rear lid. → 5000IN DIAGRAM - BODY GAP DIMENSIONS
- 1.3. Move hood to service position.
- 1.4. Loosen fastening nuts on hood compartment lid.
- 1.5. Move the hood compartment lid at the hinges to adjust the contours, adjust the hinges if necessary. → 619215 ADJUSTING HINGE FOR HOOD COMPARTMENT LID - section on "Adjusting"
- 1.6. Screw down fastening nuts on hood compartment lid. → Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7 ft. lb.)
- 1.7. End hood service position and check contours.
