Preliminary Work

  1. Move convertible top to service position. → 6101IN CONVERTIBLE TOP SERVICE POSITION 
  2. Remove pneumatic spring (convertible-top compartment lid). → 613219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PNEUMATIC SPRING  - section on "Removing"
  3. Fold trim panel for convertible top compartment -1-  at the left forward -arrows-  until the plug connection for the convertible-top compartment lid can be reached.
