Installing Hydraulic Cylinder
NOTE:
Incorrect line routing
- Risk of damage to lines and hoses
- Malfunction and fault memory entry on control unit
→ Avoid small bending radii when routing lines.
→ File down edges and burrs in the routing area or mask them with adhesive tape.
→ Maintain a sufficient distance from components exposed to high temperatures while driving.
- Secure the hydraulic cylinder.
- 1.1. Position hydraulic cylinder -2- on the hood support with the drive lever and slide the potentiometer fork into the pin of the hydraulic housing (on the left side only) -arrows- .
- 1.2. Tighten fastening nuts -1- . → Tightening torque: 17 Nm (13 ft. lb.) +/-2 Nm (+/-1.5 ft. lb.)
- Connect drive lever -2- (-arrow- ) and secure with the safety clip -1- .
- Secure hydraulic lines.
- 3.1. Press hydraulic line -3- into the retaining clip -4- (-arrow A- ).
- 3.2. Press water drain hose -1- into the retaining clip -2- (-arrow B- ).
