Installing Tension Rope
- Place eye on the tension rope and measure the total length.
- 1.1. Push the eye fully onto the end of the tension rope.
- 1.2. Measure the total length of the tension rope from center of eye to center of eye with a tape measure -dimension X = 845 mm-
.

- Fit tension rope to the shaped sheetmetal part.
- 2.1. Pull the tension rope -2-
into the piping -4-

- 2.2. Fit shrink-fit hose -1-
(large diameter) over the tension rope -2-
.
- 2.3. Engage tension rope -2-
in the tension spring -3-
at the shaped sheetmetal part.
- 2.4. Pull shrink-fit hose -1-
(large diameter) over the tension spring. Shrink the shrink-fit hose to the diameter of the tension spring by heating it with a hot-air gun.

- Slide shrink-fit hose (small diameter) onto the tension rope.
- Crimp eye with the tension rope
- 4.1. Attach eye B
to the tension rope A
and crimp twice using the crimping tool 9762
. The second crimp must be applied at an offset of 90°.
- Shrink the shrink-fit hose to the diameter of the eye by heating it with a hot-air gun.
