Removing Rear Fabric Lining

Information 

The procedure described here relates to the right fabric lining.

The wire harness for the sun blind is integrated in the left fabric lining. The procedure for removing and installing the left fabric lining is described in the information relating to the wire harness for the sun blind. → WM 975519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WIRE HARNESS FOR CONVERTIBLE TOP

1. Detach the rear fabric lining at the drive.
   1. 1.1. Cut tie-wrap -1-  at the water drain hose -2-  . Pull the water drain hose -2-  out of the bracket -arrow A-  .
   2. 1.2. Pull off retainer -3-  using a pointed-nose pliers and detach fabric lining -4-  at the bolt on the drive -arrow B-  .

2. Pull fabric lining -1-  with bottom connection seal backwards out of the guide in -direction of arrow-  .

3. Pull fabric lining -1-  with top connection seal forward out of the guide in -direction of arrow-  .
