Removing Frame For Sliding Roof Cover

Information 

To remove the frame for the sliding roof cover, the mounts must be moved into horizontal position.

To do this, actuate the rocker switch or sunroof emergency release. → Information 

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  from the mounts at the front -2-  and rear -3-  .

2. Cut tie-wraps -1-  on the wire harness -2-  .

3. Cut tie-wraps -1-  on the water drain hose -2-  at the right and left. Pull the water drain hose out of the holder.

4. Raise the frame for the sliding roof cover -1-  at the front and guide it upwards out of the roof assembly frame -2-  - first pull the right side of the frame and then the left side up and out.
