Removing Hydraulic Cylinder

WARNING: Preloaded or pressurized components
  • Risk of eye injuries
  • Risk of bruising

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Secure components to prevent them from falling off suddenly.

Information 

  1. Pump unit
  2. Wire harness
  3. Hydraulic cylinder, left
  4. Hydraulic line, short
  5. Hydraulic cylinder, right
  6. Hydraulic line, long
  1. Pull cap -2-  off the hydraulic cylinders -1-  .

    Information 

    Before the pump unit can be disassembled, the pump motor must be moved to its lower initial position.

  2. Move pump motor to its lower initial position.

    1. 2.1. To do this, connect up the -schmalen Kontakt-  12V (+) and -breiten Kontakt-  ground (-) poles. The lower initial position is reached when the piston in the pump unit moves to the mechanical stop and the amperage rating exceeds 10A. The amperage is measured using a → Bosch MMD 302 digital multimeter  .

      Information 

      Open the banjo bolts on the Pentosin tank carefully because the holders and pump unit are pressurized and the Pentosin can spray out.

      Information 

      Counter at the hydraulic line with an open-ended wrench when loosening the banjo bolt.

  3. Screw off hydraulic lines on the hydraulic cylinders.
    1. 3.1. Screw off short banjo bolt -4-  from hydraulic lines -2 and 3-  on hydraulic cylinders -1-  .

      Remove short banjo bolt -4-  , hydraulic lines -2 and 3-  and sealing rings -5-  from the hydraulic cylinders -1-  .
