Replacing Fuse Element

Information 

If a fuse element needs to be replaced, you must also fit a new cover for the fuse elements (blue) and a new seal label (red). The spare parts are grouped together as one package in the PET.

  1. Unclip the cover for the fuse elements with a screwdriver.

  2. Unscrew the fastening nuts on the faulty fuse element -1-  , remove the washer -2-  and take out the fuse element -3-  .

    Information 

    If a fuse element needs to be replaced, you must also fit a new cover for the fuse elements (blue) and a new seal label (red). The spare parts are grouped together as one package in the PET.

  3. Place the fuse element -3-  into position, fit the washer -2-  and secure with the fastening nuts -1-  . → Tightening torque: M6>>8 Nm (6 ft. lb.) → Tightening torque: M8>>15 Nm (11 ft. lb.)

  4. Insert the blue cover in power distributor and clip in place.

  5. Close the power distributor until the lid is felt to engage and seal with the red seal label.
