Removing Power Distributor

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
Release the locking mechanism of the B+ line -A- and pull off the B+ connection from the power distributor -B- .

Unscrew the two fastening nuts -2- .
Unscrew both plastic screws -1- for the cover in the passenger's footwell and remove the cover downwards.

Pull the power distributor away from the firewall and lower it down into the passenger's footwell.

Information

If a new power distributor needs to be installed or a fuse element replaced, then a new cover for the fuse elements (blue) and a new seal label (red) must be fitted. The spare parts are summarized in the PET as a package.
Disengage the lock and fold the cover open. Pull off the original seal label -arrow- .
Unclip the cover for the fuse elements with a screwdriver.

Mark the connection leads to the relevant fuse element.

Unscrew the fastening nuts -1- , remove the washer -2- and take out the fuse element -3- .
Unscrew fastening nut for the B+ line and remove the power distributor.
