Removing Power Distributor

  1. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
  2. Release the locking mechanism of the B+ line -A-  and pull off the B+ connection from the power distributor -B-  .

  3. Unscrew the two fastening nuts -2-  .
  4. Unscrew both plastic screws -1-  for the cover in the passenger's footwell and remove the cover downwards.

  5. Pull the power distributor away from the firewall and lower it down into the passenger's footwell.

    Information 

    If a new power distributor needs to be installed or a fuse element replaced, then a new cover for the fuse elements (blue) and a new seal label (red) must be fitted. The spare parts are summarized in the PET as a package.

  6. Disengage the lock and fold the cover open. Pull off the original seal label -arrow-  .
  7. Unclip the cover for the fuse elements with a screwdriver.

  8. Mark the connection leads to the relevant fuse element.

  9. Unscrew the fastening nuts -1-  , remove the washer -2-  and take out the fuse element -3-  .
  10. Unscrew fastening nut for the B+ line and remove the power distributor.
