Installing Front Roof Trim Panel

Information 

Only in vehicles with automatic anti-dazzle interior and exterior mirrors.

1. Fit grommet -1-  on the front roof trim panel.

2. Fit front roof trim panel to the windscreen frame from below and clip it into position -Arrows-  .

3. Connect plug connection for interior mirror -1-  (-Arrows a-  ) and clip it into the holder -Arrow A-  .

4. Position mounting saddle -3-  on the front roof trim panel -Arrow A-  and secure with the fastening screw -2-  . → Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (2.0 ft. lb.)

5. Press in cap -1-  (-Arrow B-  ).
6. Place convertible-top peg mount -2-  on the windscreen frame from below -Arrow-  , position it correctly and screw down hand-tight with the fastening screws -1-  .

   Information 

   To prevent rattling noises, the two convertible-top peg mounts (left and right) must be facing outwards with respect to the centering pins fitted on the convertible top or hardtop when tightening the screws.

   The convertible top must be closed or the hardtop must be fitted to check the adjustment.

7. Tighten fastening screws -1-  . → Final tightening: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
