Installing Weather Protector For Hood

  1. Insert the outer corner bow -1-  for the weather protector -2-  on the left and right-hand side of the vehicle into the mounts on the trim panel at the bottom -arrow A-  and clip it into the corner bow tube at the top -arrow B-  and align it -arrows C-  .

  2. Button weather protector onto the hood -arrows-  . Hold the large ring on the outside of the Tenax button -2-  so that it can be engaged easily in the Tenax screw -1-  .

    Information 

    Make sure that the front fabric edge and the rubber seal on the weather protector are clamped against the body when the door is closed. Otherwise, water can leak in.

  3. Attach the tensioning element of the weather protector fins -1-  to the red tension bars -2-  on the rear lid -arrows-  until the tension elements lock with an audible click.

  4. Lift the rear lid up slightly and clip the lid support into the mount on the rear lid -arrow A-  .
  5. Close the rear lid -arrow B-  and press down on the lock area with the palm of your hand.
