Removing Rear Spring Strut (Steel Springs)

Information 

• Spring strut screws are under tension. Use a suitable lift with rubber base.

1. Remove spring strut at wheel carrier. Let connecting rod hang to the side.
2. Release spring strut at top (four screws at the damper housing) -arrows-  . To do this, use a 3/8 inch changeover ratchet with extension and universal joint.

3. Carefully remove the spring strut assembly with damper housing from the vehicle.
