→ Do not reach into the danger area.
→ Relieve the tension on components before starting work.
→ Secure components to prevent them from loosening suddenly.

Information
- Observe the correct allocation (engine variant) when installing new coil springs and/or shock absorbers.
- Observe allocation of the bottom spring plate according to the coil spring tolerance .
- We recommend that you replace the coil springs only in pairs.
- Clamp the spring strut at a suitable place in the vice (use jaw liners).
- Tension the coil springs -siehe illustration- using spring clamp for spring struts Nr.121 until the piston rod is relieved.
- Loosen the connection (piston rod to supporting mount) at the piston rod using a commercially available changeover ratchet and a socket wrench insert 3353. Counter with an arm bracket 9630.
- Remove all components from the piston rod.
