Installing Front Wheel Cover

  1. Clean bonding area.

    1. 1.1. Wipe off fitting area -A-  with a cloth soaked in isopropanol.

    Information 

    • The object and room temperature must be at least 18° C for bonding the components. 
    • The components must be bonded for at least 24 hours before washing the vehicle. 
  2. Fit wheel cover on wing.

    1. 2.1. Pull protective paper -1-  off the adhesive tape -arrows-  .
    2. 2.2. Align wheel cover -2-  at the gap between the wing -3-  and front apron -4-  and position it slightly back by a distance of -X= 1 mm-  with respect to the edge of the wing -arrow-  .
    3. 2.3. Press evenly and firmly on the wheel cover in the bonding area -2-  with the ball of your hand.

    Wheel cover on wing must be offset with respect to centre of front apron gap. → Gap dimension X: 1.0 mm 

  3. Fit wheel cover on front apron.

    1. 3.1. Pull protective paper -1-  off the adhesive tape -arrows-  .
    2. 3.2. Align wheel cover -2-  flush with the edge of the wheel cover on the wing -3-  and fit at this position -arrow-  .
    3. 3.3. Press evenly and firmly with your hand on the area of the wheel cover where adhesive is applied -2-  .
  4. Fit wheel cover on spoiler.

    1. 4.1. Pull protective paper -1-  off the adhesive tape -arrows-  .
    2. 4.2. Align wheel cover on spoiler -2-  flush with the edge of the wheel cover on the front apron -3-  and fit at this position -arrow-  .
    3. 4.3. Press evenly and firmly with your hand on the area of the wheel cover where adhesive is applied -2-  .
  5. Fit wheel cover on wing trim panel.

    1. 5.1. Pull protective paper -1-  off the adhesive tape -arrows-  .
    2. 5.2. Align wheel cover -2-  flush with the edge of the wheel cover on the wing -3-  and fit at this position -arrow-  .
    3. 5.3. Press evenly and firmly with your hand on the area of the wheel cover where adhesive is applied -2-  .
