Installing Front Wheel Cover
- Clean bonding area.
- 1.1. Wipe off fitting area -A- with a cloth soaked in isopropanol.
Information
- The object and room temperature must be at least 18° C for bonding the components.
- The components must be bonded for at least 24 hours before washing the vehicle.
- Fit wheel cover on wing.
- 2.1. Pull protective paper -1- off the adhesive tape -arrows- .
- 2.2. Align wheel cover -2- at the gap between the wing -3- and front apron -4- and position it slightly back by a distance of -X= 1 mm- with respect to the edge of the wing -arrow- .
- 2.3. Press evenly and firmly on the wheel cover in the bonding area -2- with the ball of your hand.
Wheel cover on wing must be offset with respect to centre of front apron gap. → Gap dimension X: 1.0 mm
- Fit wheel cover on front apron.
- 3.1. Pull protective paper -1- off the adhesive tape -arrows- .
- 3.2. Align wheel cover -2- flush with the edge of the wheel cover on the wing -3- and fit at this position -arrow- .
- 3.3. Press evenly and firmly with your hand on the area of the wheel cover where adhesive is applied -2- .
- Fit wheel cover on spoiler.
- 4.1. Pull protective paper -1- off the adhesive tape -arrows- .
- 4.2. Align wheel cover on spoiler -2- flush with the edge of the wheel cover on the front apron -3- and fit at this position -arrow- .
- 4.3. Press evenly and firmly with your hand on the area of the wheel cover where adhesive is applied -2- .
- Fit wheel cover on wing trim panel.
- 5.1. Pull protective paper -1- off the adhesive tape -arrows- .
- 5.2. Align wheel cover -2- flush with the edge of the wheel cover on the wing -3- and fit at this position -arrow- .
- 5.3. Press evenly and firmly with your hand on the area of the wheel cover where adhesive is applied -2- .
