Installing front bumper
- Install bumper.
- 1.1. Install bumper -11- and position it correctly -arrow- .
- 1.2. Screw in fastening screws -9, 10- (-arrows- ) but do not tighten them and check the position of the bumper.
- 1.3. Tighten fastening screws -9, 10-
to the specified tightening torque.
→ Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1.0 ftlb.)+/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.) → Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ftlb.)+/-10 Nm (+/-7.5 ftlb.)
- 1.4. Remove piece of wood from between radiator and transverse bar.
- Plug in connector on horn at the left and right and clip in wire harness.
- 2.1. Plug in connector on horn -arrow A- until it engages securely.
- 2.2. Clip in wire harness at the left and right of the bumper -arrow B- .
- Install the side air guide.
- 3.1. Cayenne/Cayenne S
:
Position side air guide -5- (-arrow- ) and secure with fastening screws -4- (-arrow- ).
Tighten fastening screws -4- to the specified tightening torque. → Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1.0 ftlb.)+/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)
- 3.1. Cayenne/Cayenne S
:
- Fasten lock support.
- 4.1. Align the lock support with the bumper.
- 4.2. Screw in fastening screw -1- but do not tighten it, and re-check the position of the lock support with respect to the bumper.
- 4.3. Tighten fastening screw -1-
to the specified tightening torque.
→ Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)+/-1 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)
- Connect radiator module.
- 5.1. Install plastic guide element -1- (-arrow- ).
- 5.2. Position fastening clamp -2- and hook it in -arrow- .
