WM 442655 Replacing Tire Sealing Compound (All Models): Information

The tire sealing compound is accommodated in the luggage compartment. Intended position can be found in the Driver's Manual for the vehicle (description of luggage compartment, topic of access flaps/tool box).

The tire sealing compound must be replaced every 4 years to guarantee the sealing effect in the event of minor damage to the tires.

The expiry date can be found on the base of the compressed air bottle.

The Driver's Manual for the vehicle describes its use in detail (sealing of tire in the event of minor slashing damage). The compressed air bottle is also supplied with instructions.

The sealant is readily flammable and hazardous to health. Warnings to this effect are printed on the bottle and given in the Driver's Manual.
