Information 

• However, the precondition for precise positioning of the retaining strip is that the rear lid is optimally adjusted and correctly locked in the lock in accordance with the joining plan and the functional dimensions, before the rear retaining strip is assembled. 

1. Check the functional dimensions of the rear lid, and correct if necessary. → 559015 ADJUSTING REAR LID
2. Insert assembly fixtures -1-  at the measuring point -A = 276 mm-  between the rear retaining strip -2-  and rear lid -3-  .

   Information 

   • Ensure that the distance from the retaining strip to the side panel is uniform on the right and the left  .
3. Push rear retaining strip -2-  upwards and screw down with the two fastening nuts -4-  . → Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.  )
4. Clip in wire harness for rear apron.
5. Install rear apron. → Installing Rear Apron 
6. Check control dimension -X= 8 mm- between lid lower edge -1-  and rear apron -2-  , and if necessary readjust lid -1-  and rear retaining strip -3-  .

7. After correct adjustment of the rear retaining strip and rear apron, complete the vehicle.
