Removing Outer Lower Side Member

Determining cut
1. 1.1. Position the cut 1 so that the replacement outer lower side member overlaps by approx. 60 mm. Mark the cut.

Mill off spotwelds on the outer lower side member.
1. 2.1. Mill off spot welds between the outer and inner lower side members in areas A and B using a spotweld cutter.

Cutting the web plate
1. 3.1. Cut through the web plate in area C using the body saw.

Cutting through the lower side member
1. 4.1. Cut through the lower side member at the marked area D using the body saw.

Milling off the web plate
1. 5.1. Using a spotweld cutter, mill off the spotwelds between the web plate and inner lower side member in area E .
