Removing Front Brake Disc

Information 

  1. Release retainer for connector for wear indicator on wheel carrier.
  2. Disconnect the speed sensor (ABS sensor).
  3. Push brake pads back slightly and evenly with piston resetting fixure -piston resetting fixture (replaces P83) NR.144-  . → see -direction arrow-  . Make sure that no brake fluid runs out of the supply tank - remove brake fluid by suction if necessary.

  4. Remove brake calliper on the wheel carrier and hang it in a suitable place in the wheel well (do not open brake hydraulics!).
  5. Remove brake disc after unscrewing the fastening screw. If necessary, remove the brake disc by tapping it gently with a rubber hammer.
