Installing Backrest Frame

Information 

Two persons are needed to remove and install the backrest frame.

1. Guide backrest frame -3-  into the seat frame -arrow A-  .

   WARNING: Incorrect handling of safety bolts

   • Danger of injury
   • Loss of torque

   → Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.

   → Observe specified tightening torques.

   → Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.

   Information 

   Always replace the fastening screws on the front seat after customer service and reworking. The micro-self-locking or self-tapping screws must not be treated, greased or loosened and then screwed on again.

2. Position support panel -2-  on the seat frame -arrow B-  and secure with the fastening screws -1-  . → Tightening torque: 34 Nm (25 ftlb.)+/-4 Nm (+/-3 ftlb.)
