Securing Electric Line

→ Avoid small bending radii when routing lines.

→ File down edges and burrs in the routing area or mask them with adhesive tape.

→ Maintain a sufficient distance from components exposed to high temperatures while driving.

Information 

The routing of the wire harness for the control unit must be checked before installing the seat.

The wire harness must not be routed over the cover, but should be laid along side the cover -A-  .

Information 

Before installing and securing the front seat, make sure the electric lines are not pinched or damaged.

1. Place front seat in vehicle and tilt backwards.

2. Check tie-wrap -1-  and replace tie-wrap -1-  if necessary.
3. Clip in wire harness -2-  .
