Installing Rear Lid Hinge Trim

Information 

• The bonding surface must be free of dirt and grease. Clean it if necessary using cleaning agent. 

1. Before gluing in the lid hinge trim -1-  , pull off protective film -2-  on the adhesive tape without leaving any residue.

2. Position lid hinge trim -1-  and align wire harness for rear lid -2-  with respect to the lid hinge trim.

3. Insert locking lugs on the lid hinge trim -1-  at the right and left in -direction of arrow A-  and press them in -Arrow B-  until the clamps engage.

4. Press lid hinge trim onto the body and press it on securely at the edges and at the right using a plastic wedge.
5. Wait for 15 minutes before pressing the rear lid into the lock.
