Installing Oxygen Sensor Behind Catalytic Converter

  1. Install oxygen sensors. To do this, grease thread of oxygen sensors with Optimoly Paste MF (000 043 207 07) before fitting them. Make sure that the paste does not get into the slits in the sensor body. Screw in both oxygen sensors behind catalytic converter -2-  using a ring or open-ended wrench (a/f 22) or using open-end/ring wrench Nr.96-3  or open-end/ring wrench Nr.98. Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)

  2. Connect oxygen sensors. Route cable for the oxygen sensors, clip it in and connect cable plugs for the oxygen sensors behind catalytic converter.
