Removing Vibration Damper

Arm bracket 9679/1 must be inserted into the vibration damper and turned until it locks.

Incorrect handling of tools
- Risk of damage to the body
→ Only use tools approved by Porsche.

→ Always ensure that the tool is seated correctly.

→ Protect the body and interior of the vehicle from damage with protective covers.

→ Cover delicate components with cardboard or sheetmetal panels.

Protect the radiator fins using cardboard or a sheetmetal panel to prevent damage.

Cover wing and peripheral parts to protect them.
Fit large torque wrench on the central screw or T-piece -2- (large socket, width across flats 27) and loosen central screw for balancer. Do not use the screw again. Use a tubular handle -1- , if necessary. Loosening torque is very high.

Remove central screw and pull vibration damper down and forward.
