Installing Spare-Wheel Well With Cross Member And Side Floor Sections

Information 

The lock carrier and outer end plate must be fitted in order to fit the spare-wheel well with cross member and side floor sections.

1. 1.1. Install lock carrier and end plate first.
2. 1.2. Fix spare-wheel well with cross member and side floor sections in place with tensioning clamps.

   2. Floor section, right
   3. Spare-wheel well
   4. Floor section, left

1. 2.1. Plug-weld the cross member in area -A-  using inert gas.

2. 2.2. Resistance spot-weld the cross member and spare-wheel well in area -B-  .

1. 3.1. Plug-weld the side floor sections in areas -A, B, C and D-  using inert gas.

2. 3.2. Resistance spot-weld the side floor sections in areas -E, F, G and H-  .

1. 4.1. Resistance spot-weld the side floor sections at the back in areas -A and B-  .
