Installing Rear Spoiler

Install lower part of rear spoiler.

1. 1.1. Guide wire harness from rear window through lower part of rear spoiler and press in grommets -3- (-arrow A- ).
2. 1.2. Position lower part of rear spoiler -4- (-arrow B- ).
3. 1.3. Tighten fastening nuts -1- and -2- . → Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6.0 ftlb.)+/-0.8 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.) → Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1.0 ftlb.)+/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)
Install antenna lines in the rear spoiler at the left and right. → Installing Antenna Lines
Install upper part of rear spoiler.

1. 3.1. Fit upper part of rear spoiler -1- on the positioning bolts from the rear -arrow- and slide into final position.
Secure upper part of rear spoiler.

1. 4.1. Check contour of upper part of rear spoiler with respect to the outer roof panel and adjust it if necessary.
  → 5000IN DIAGRAM - BODY GAP DIMENSIONS
2. 4.2. Tighten new fastening screws -1- .
  → Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6.0 ftlb.)+/-0.8 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)
3. 4.3. Press on -2- caps -arrow- .
4. 4.4. Tighten fastening screws -1- . → Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (2.0 ftlb.)+/- 0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)

5. 4.5. Press in seal -2- at the left and right -arrow- .
