Securing Engine On Assembly Support

CAUTION: Heavy components
  • Risk of squashing

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Get someone to help if necessary.

WARNING: Danger of objects or loads falling down
  • Risk of squashing or crushing

→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

Information 

  1. Secure engine support engine support 9676  on engine. To do this, use the four screws for mounting elements 9590  and tighten them. Crankcase on engine support (shown with inverted top section of crankcase of disassembled engine).

  2. Move engine in front of the engine support (assembly support) using the workshop crane and guide in with the help of a second worker. Raise engine so that the engine can be eased in horizontally. →

  3. Secure engine on assembly support. →
