Removing Oil Pump

  1. Unscrew the fastening screws on the oil pump -arrows-  .

  2. Screw threaded bolt -1-  into the oil pump shaft.

  3. Position striker -2-  and carefully knock the oil pump out. Striker VW 771/1 Threaded part VW 771/15

  4. Pull striker off the oil pump.
